One System For Every HR Task
We build integrated HR management systems that bring employee records, attendance, leave and payroll together, replacing spreadsheets and disconnected tools.
Overview
HRMS Development
An HRMS is the system of record for your workforce. Codemotives builds platforms that combine the core modules in one data model: employee master records, organization structure, attendance and shift tracking, leave and holiday policies, and payroll inputs and processing. Because everything shares data, a joiner, transfer or exit updates every module consistently.
The difficult part is rules. Leave accrual, overtime, shift allowances, statutory deductions and approval chains differ by company and by country, so we model them as configurable policies rather than hard-coded logic. We build payroll calculations to your documented rules and test them against real historical payslips, with finance reviewing results before go-live.
Context
Problems we solve
- 01
Payroll rule complexity
Allowances, deductions, overtime and statutory rules vary widely, and small errors affect every employee.
- 02
Attendance data collection
Biometric devices, mobile check-ins and manual entries produce inconsistent records that must be reconciled.
- 03
Policy changes
Leave and shift policies change often. Hard-coded rules turn each update into a development task.
- 04
Records scattered across tools
Employee data in several files and apps leads to mismatches between HR, payroll and managers.

FAQs
Common questions
Have a question that is not covered here? Get in touch.
Should we build an HRMS or buy one?
Ready-made HRMS products suit standard needs. Building makes sense when your pay structure, shift rules or integrations are unusual, or per-employee licensing becomes costly. We compare both with you before recommending a build.
Can you handle payroll accurately?
We implement payroll calculations to the rules you give us and test them against past payslips. Statutory requirements change, so your payroll or legal advisers should confirm the rules, and we make them configurable for updates.
Can it connect to biometric or access devices?
Often yes, depending on whether the device offers an API, SDK or export. We review the device models early because they influence the attendance design.
What drives cost and timeline?
The number of modules, payroll complexity, number of locations and policies, device integrations and data migration from existing records. Releasing records and leave first, then payroll, is a common phasing.
