Keyword Research by Intent
We turn search data into a map of topics, intents and pages, so content planning starts from what people actually want to find.
Overview
Keyword Research
Good keyword research explains demand, not just volume. Codemotives gathers queries from Search Console, tools such as Ahrefs and Semrush, competitor coverage and your own sales and support conversations, then groups them by intent: informational, commercial, transactional or navigational. Each group is matched to an existing page or a gap that needs a new one.
The result is a topic cluster plan showing which pages to create, merge or improve, and how they should link together. Search volumes are estimates, and difficulty scores are tool opinions, so we treat them as inputs to judgment. We do not promise that a keyword will rank, only that effort goes toward topics your audience genuinely searches for.
Context
Problems we solve
- 01
Chasing volume over fit
High-volume terms often attract the wrong audience. Relevance to your offer matters more than a big number.
- 02
Mixed search intent
A page that mixes learning and buying intents tends to serve neither well. Intent needs to be identified before writing.
- 03
Content with no plan
Publishing disconnected articles leaves topical gaps and duplicates. A cluster structure gives coverage a purpose.
- 04
Unreliable tool data
Volume and difficulty metrics differ between tools. Cross-checking with Search Console reduces the guesswork.

FAQs
Common questions
Have a question that is not covered here? Get in touch.
What do I get from keyword research?
A structured document or sheet of topics grouped by intent, mapped to pages, with priorities and notes on content format. It is meant to be used directly by writers and developers.
Is high search volume always better?
No. A smaller, well-matched query can bring more qualified visitors than a broad one. Volume is only one input alongside intent, competition and business fit.
Can you guarantee a keyword will rank?
No. Search engines decide rankings, and results depend on competition, site history and execution. Research reduces wasted effort, but it cannot ensure any outcome.
