Structured Data Done Right
We implement clean JSON-LD structured data that matches your visible content, so search engines can understand it and pages may be eligible for rich results.
Overview
Schema Markup
Schema markup is structured data that describes a page: an organization, article, product, FAQ, event, job posting or software application. Codemotives implements it as JSON-LD, generated from your actual content or CMS fields so it stays accurate when pages change. We follow Google's structured data guidelines and avoid marking up anything a visitor cannot see.
Valid markup can make a page eligible for enhanced search features, but eligibility is not a guarantee of display, and Google has narrowed which rich results it shows for some types. We test with the Rich Results Test and Search Console reports, then watch for warnings after releases. Our aim is correctness and clarity for machines, not decoration.
Context
Problems we solve
- 01
Markup that does not match
Structured data describing content that is not on the page breaks guidelines and can lead to manual actions.
- 02
Plugin-generated errors
Default plugin output often contains duplicates, conflicts or missing required properties.
- 03
Changing eligibility rules
Google adjusts which types earn rich results. Implementation must be checked against current documentation.
- 04
Markup that goes stale
Hard-coded prices, dates or availability drift from reality unless markup is generated from live data.

FAQs
Common questions
Have a question that is not covered here? Get in touch.
Will schema markup improve my rankings?
Structured data is not a direct ranking boost. It helps search engines interpret content and can make pages eligible for rich results, which Google may or may not show.
Which schema types should I use?
Only those that describe content actually visible on the page and that suit your business, such as Organization, Article, Product or BreadcrumbList. We recommend based on your templates, not on volume.
Can you add schema to a custom-built site?
Yes. Codemotives is a software company, so we can generate JSON-LD in your framework or backend code from the same data that renders the page.
