Cloud Development, Done Practically

When you need engineers who write cloud code, we build the functions, APIs, integrations and services that make your cloud setup do real work.

Overview

Cloud Development

Cloud development is the hands-on coding layer of the cloud: writing serverless functions, event handlers, APIs, queue consumers, and scripts that use provider SDKs. It sits between infrastructure setup and finished products, and it is where many projects either stay tidy or turn messy. Doing it with care means fewer surprises when the code meets real permissions, limits and traffic.

We take on this work as focused engineering. That might be adding a file-processing pipeline to an existing app, building an API on managed services, or extending your platform with background jobs. We write tested, documented code, follow your conventions, and leave you with something your own developers can pick up.

Context

Problems we solve

  • 01

    Gaps in cloud skills

In-house teams may know the application but not the provider SDKs, event models and limits.

  • 02

    Glue code that rots

Quick scripts connecting services become critical but untested. They need proper engineering.

  • 03

    Local versus cloud behavior

Code that works on a laptop can fail on permissions, timeouts or cold starts once deployed.

Capabilities

What we deliver

  1. 01

    Serverless functions

We build event-driven functions for tasks like image processing, notifications and scheduled jobs.

  2. 02

    API development

REST and GraphQL APIs run on managed gateways and compute, with authentication and rate controls.

  3. 03

    Background processing

Queues, workers and schedulers handle long-running tasks outside the user's request.

  4. 04

    Provider SDK integration

We connect your code to storage, messaging, databases and AI services through official SDKs.

  5. 05

    Automated tests and tooling

Local emulation and automated tests catch environment issues before deployment.

  6. 06

    Team augmentation

Our developers can work alongside yours, following your repositories and review process.

Where it fits

  • Adding serverless features to an existing app
  • Building APIs on managed cloud services
  • File upload and processing pipelines
  • Scheduled reports and data jobs
  • Webhook and event handlers

Technologies we use

  • AWS Lambda
  • Azure Functions
  • Google Cloud Functions
  • Node.js
  • Python
  • Go
  • DynamoDB
  • TypeScript

Approach

How we deliver

  1. 1

    Discover

We learn your goals, users, constraints and existing systems before proposing anything.

  2. 2

    Plan

Scope, priorities, architecture and milestones are agreed so everyone knows what ships when.

  3. 3

    Design

User flows, interfaces and technical design are shaped and reviewed with you early.

  4. 4

    Build

Work is delivered in short iterations with regular demos, so progress is always visible.

  5. 5

    Test

Functional, integration and performance checks run throughout, not only at the end.

  6. 6

    Launch & support

We deploy, monitor and keep improving the product after it goes live.

FAQs

Common questions

Have a question that is not covered here? Get in touch.

How is cloud development different from cloud application development?

Cloud development is the code that uses cloud services, such as functions, APIs and jobs, often added to something that already exists. Application development covers building a whole product. We take on either, or both.

Is serverless always the right choice?

No. It suits event-driven and variable workloads well, but long-running or steady heavy workloads can be better on containers or servers. We recommend based on how your workload behaves.

Can your developers join our existing team?

Yes. We can work in your repositories, follow your standards and hand over documented code your team can maintain.
