Design Grounded in Users

Research-led UI/UX design for web and mobile products, from user flows and prototypes to design systems that developers can build from directly.

Overview

UI/UX Design

Good UI/UX design starts by understanding who uses the product and what they are trying to do. We run discovery, map key journeys, and test ideas with simple prototypes before polishing visuals, so effort goes into layouts and flows that people can actually follow. Testing early is far cheaper than redesigning after development.

Because our designers work alongside our developers, designs are built with implementation in mind. We deliver component libraries, design tokens, responsive layouts and accessibility considerations, and stay involved during development to review builds. The result is a product that looks consistent and is practical to ship and maintain. Designers and developers share the same components throughout the project.

Context

Problems we solve

  • 01

    Confusing user flows

Users abandon products they cannot figure out. We map journeys and simplify steps before visual design.

  • 02

    Design-to-code gaps

Handoff often loses detail. We use shared components and tokens so what is designed is what gets built.

  • 03

    Inconsistent interfaces

Products grow messy without shared rules. We create design systems that keep new screens consistent.

  • 04

    Accessibility oversights

Retrofitting accessibility is costly. We consider contrast, keyboard use and screen readers from the start.

Capabilities

What we deliver

  1. 01

    User research

We use interviews, reviews of existing analytics and competitor study to ground design decisions.

  2. 02

    Information architecture and flows

We structure content and navigation so users find what they need with little effort.

  3. 03

    Wireframes and prototypes

We build interactive prototypes to test concepts with users before development begins.

  4. 04

    Visual and interface design

We design polished, responsive interfaces for web, iOS and Android.

  5. 05

    Design systems

We create reusable component libraries and guidelines for consistent, faster product work.

  6. 06

    Usability testing and review

We test designs and shipped builds, then refine based on what users actually do.

Where it fits

  • Designing a new SaaS product from scratch
  • Redesigning a confusing checkout flow
  • Building a design system for a growing app
  • Mobile app interface design
  • Usability review of an existing product

Approach

How we deliver

  1. 1

    Discover

We learn your goals, users, constraints and existing systems before proposing anything.

  2. 2

    Plan

Scope, priorities, architecture and milestones are agreed so everyone knows what ships when.

  3. 3

    Design

User flows, interfaces and technical design are shaped and reviewed with you early.

  4. 4

    Build

Work is delivered in short iterations with regular demos, so progress is always visible.

  5. 5

    Test

Functional, integration and performance checks run throughout, not only at the end.

  6. 6

    Launch & support

We deploy, monitor and keep improving the product after it goes live.

FAQs

Common questions

Have a question that is not covered here? Get in touch.

Do you design only, or design and build?

Both are possible. You can take our designs to your own developers, or we can build them, which tends to reduce handoff friction.

How involved will we need to be?

Quite involved at the start, since good design depends on your knowledge of users and goals. We keep reviews short and regular so decisions are made in small steps.

What affects the cost and timeline of a design project?

The number of screens and user flows, the amount of research needed, platform coverage and whether a design system is included. We scope these during an initial discussion.
