Move to Cloud Safely

We move your servers, databases and workloads into the cloud in planned stages, protecting data and keeping the business running during the cutover.

Overview

Cloud Migration

Cloud migration is the move of infrastructure and data from on-premise servers or another host to a cloud provider. The hard parts are rarely the copying itself. They are discovering what really depends on what, sequencing the move, handling data transfer and planning a cutover that users barely notice. Careful preparation up front is what makes the move itself uneventful.

We begin with an inventory of servers, databases, network links and dependencies, then group workloads into migration waves. Each wave has a rehearsal, a rollback plan and validation steps. Afterward we tune sizing and costs, because a lift-and-shift copy usually runs better and cheaper once it has been adjusted to its new home.

Context

Problems we solve

  • 01

    Unknown dependencies

Old servers often hide connections nobody documented. Moving one piece can break another.

  • 02

    Downtime risk

Businesses cannot always stop for a weekend. Cutovers need rehearsal and clear rollback options.

  • 03

    Large data transfer

Moving databases and files at scale needs careful method, timing and integrity checks.

  • 04

    Post-move cost surprises

Oversized or always-on cloud resources can cost more than the old setup if left untuned.

Capabilities

What we deliver

  1. 01

    Discovery and assessment

We map servers, databases and dependencies and classify each workload by migration approach.

  2. 02

    Migration planning

Workloads are grouped into waves with timelines, owners, rehearsals and rollback plans.

  3. 03

    Data and database transfer

We use replication and verified transfer methods to move data with integrity checks.

  4. 04

    Cutover execution

Planned switchovers, DNS changes and validation keep disruption to a minimum.

  5. 05

    Post-migration tuning

Right-sizing, reserved capacity review and monitoring bring cost and performance in line.

  6. 06

    Decommissioning support

Once the new environment is stable, we help retire old servers safely.

Where it fits

  • Closing a data center or server room
  • Moving from one cloud provider to another
  • Migrating databases to managed services
  • Shifting hosting from shared servers
  • Consolidating scattered environments

Technologies we use

  • AWS
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud
  • Terraform
  • Docker
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • Linux

Approach

How we deliver

  1. 1

    Discover

We learn your goals, users, constraints and existing systems before proposing anything.

  2. 2

    Plan

Scope, priorities, architecture and milestones are agreed so everyone knows what ships when.

  3. 3

    Design

User flows, interfaces and technical design are shaped and reviewed with you early.

  4. 4

    Build

Work is delivered in short iterations with regular demos, so progress is always visible.

  5. 5

    Test

Functional, integration and performance checks run throughout, not only at the end.

  6. 6

    Launch & support

We deploy, monitor and keep improving the product after it goes live.

FAQs

Common questions

Have a question that is not covered here? Get in touch.

How is cloud migration different from application migration or modernization?

Cloud migration is about moving infrastructure and workloads to a cloud platform, often with few code changes. Application migration moves a specific application between environments, and modernization changes the application itself.

How long does a migration take?

It depends on the number of workloads, data volume, dependencies and how much change you want along the way. A discovery phase lets us give a staged timeline based on what we find.

Will there be downtime?

We plan for as little as possible, using replication and rehearsed cutovers. Some workloads can switch almost seamlessly, while others need a short maintenance window, which we agree on in advance.
