Visibility in AI-Generated Answers
We prepare your content, entities and site for AI-driven search with factual clarity and crawl access. Being cited cannot be guaranteed, and we say so plainly.
Overview
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
AI assistants and features such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT search and Perplexity summarize information from the web and sometimes cite sources. Codemotives helps your site be a good candidate: pages with clear, factual, well-structured answers, consistent information about your brand across the web, and technical access that matches your choices about AI crawlers.
This field is new and changing quickly, and the systems behind it are not transparent. No agency can guarantee that your content will be cited or shown, and anyone who does is overstating what they control. We rely on sound fundamentals that also help conventional search, measure what we can, and review the approach as platforms change their behavior and guidance.
Context
Problems we solve
- 01
Unclear, buried answers
Pages that bury key facts in long marketing text are harder for any system to summarize accurately or quote.
- 02
Inconsistent brand facts
Different descriptions, names or details across your site and profiles can lead to confused or inaccurate summaries.
- 03
Crawler access decisions
Teams often do not know which AI crawlers visit, or whether blocking or allowing them matches their business goals.
- 04
Hard-to-measure outcomes
AI answers vary by query and session, and referral data is limited, so progress must be tracked carefully and cautiously.
Capabilities
What we deliver
- 01
Answer-ready content review
We assess key pages for clear definitions, direct answers, sourced facts and sensible structure, then suggest edits.
- 02
Entity consistency
We align how your organization, products and people are described across your site, profiles and structured data.
- 03
Structured data
We implement accurate Schema.org markup for organizations, products, articles and FAQs where it reflects visible content.
- 04
AI crawler policy
We review robots.txt and server logs, explain the trade-offs of allowing or blocking each crawler, and implement your choice.
- 05
Citation-worthy resources
We help plan original, well-sourced pages such as guides and data explainers that others have reason to reference.
- 06
Monitoring and review
We test sample queries on a schedule, record how your brand is described, and revisit the plan as platforms evolve.

FAQs
Common questions
Have a question that is not covered here? Get in touch.
Can you get us cited by ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews?
No. We cannot control which sources those systems choose, and nobody can honestly promise it. We can improve clarity, consistency and access, which makes your content a better candidate, but the outcome stays with the platforms.
Is GEO different from SEO?
They overlap heavily. Crawlable pages, helpful content and good structure serve both. GEO adds attention to how information is phrased, how consistent your entity details are and what you allow AI crawlers to access.
Should we block AI crawlers?
It depends on your business. Blocking may protect content but reduce visibility in some AI products, while allowing may increase exposure but not guarantee traffic. We explain the options so you can decide.
Do you use AI to mass-produce content?
No. Mass-produced, unreviewed content risks violating Google's spam policies and rarely helps. We favor fewer, accurate, human-reviewed pages.
