Automate The Work Nobody Wants

We replace repetitive manual steps, such as re-keying, report assembly and data syncing, with reliable automation, starting with the processes that cost you most.

Overview

Business Process Automation

Automation works well on processes that are frequent, rule-based and error-prone. Codemotives begins by mapping candidates: how often each task occurs, how long it takes, where mistakes happen and what depends on it. Some processes need simplifying before automating, and we say so, because automating a messy process only makes the mess faster.

Implementation varies by case: API integrations that move data between systems, scheduled jobs that produce reports, robotic process automation for systems with no API, document processing that extracts data from invoices or forms, and AI-assisted steps where judgment is needed. We add monitoring, exception queues and human review so failures are visible instead of silent.

Context

Problems we solve

  • 01

    Manual re-entry errors

Copying data between systems wastes time and introduces mistakes that surface later in invoices and reports.

  • 02

    Choosing what to automate

Not every task is worth automating. Without measurement, effort goes to visible rather than valuable tasks.

  • 03

    Brittle automations

Scripts that break silently when a screen or file format changes create hidden failures.

  • 04

    Exceptions needing people

Real processes have edge cases. Automation must hand them to humans cleanly instead of failing or guessing.

Capabilities

What we deliver

  1. 01

    Process discovery

Mapping tasks, volumes and error rates to rank automation candidates by value and feasibility.

  2. 02

    System-to-system integration

API and webhook automations that keep CRM, ERP, billing and support data in sync.

  3. 03

    Robotic process automation

Bots for legacy or API-less systems, built with monitoring and clear limits on where they should be used.

  4. 04

    Document and data extraction

Reading invoices, forms and emails into structured records, with confidence checks and review queues.

  5. 05

    Exception handling

Queues, alerts and approvals so unusual cases reach a person with context.

  6. 06

    Monitoring and maintenance

Run logs, failure alerts and scheduled upkeep so automations keep working as systems change.

Where it fits

  • Invoice capture and posting to accounting software
  • Syncing orders between eCommerce and ERP
  • Automated weekly reports from several systems
  • Customer onboarding data entry across tools
  • Reconciling payments with bank records

Technologies we use

  • Python
  • Node.js
  • Zapier
  • n8n
  • Playwright
  • REST APIs
  • Apache Airflow
  • PostgreSQL

Approach

How we deliver

  1. 1

    Discover

We learn your goals, users, constraints and existing systems before proposing anything.

  2. 2

    Plan

Scope, priorities, architecture and milestones are agreed so everyone knows what ships when.

  3. 3

    Design

User flows, interfaces and technical design are shaped and reviewed with you early.

  4. 4

    Build

Work is delivered in short iterations with regular demos, so progress is always visible.

  5. 5

    Test

Functional, integration and performance checks run throughout, not only at the end.

  6. 6

    Launch & support

We deploy, monitor and keep improving the product after it goes live.

FAQs

Common questions

Have a question that is not covered here? Get in touch.

Which processes should we automate first?

Start with tasks that are frequent, rule-based and cause visible errors or delays. We help you estimate effort saved against build and upkeep cost, and begin with a pilot so you see results before scaling.

Is RPA or API integration better?

API integration is more reliable when it is available. RPA is useful when a system has no usable interface, but it is more fragile and needs more upkeep. We choose per case and explain the trade-off.

Will automation replace our staff?

The aim is to remove repetitive work so people can focus on judgment-based tasks. We design exception handling so staff remain in control of unusual cases, and decisions about roles are yours to make.

What drives cost and timeline?

The number of systems involved, whether they offer APIs, process variability, and how much exception handling and monitoring you need. Scoped pilots are quicker and give real numbers.
