Custom Learning Management Systems

Custom LMS platforms for schools, training providers and companies, covering enrollment, course delivery, assessment, certification and reporting.

Overview

LMS Development

A learning management system is the administrative backbone of training: who is enrolled, what they must complete, how they are assessed and what evidence exists. Codemotives builds custom LMS platforms where off-the-shelf products do not fit your structure, whether that is multi-campus school administration, partner training portals or compliance courses with expiring certificates.

We design around the people who run the system as much as those who learn on it: administrators, instructors, managers and auditors. That means flexible roles, bulk enrollment, reporting and integrations with HR, student information or single sign-on systems. We can support standards such as SCORM and xAPI, and plan content migration from your existing platform.

Context

Sector challenges

  • 01

    Rigid off-the-shelf LMS

Standard products may not match your org structure or workflows. We build around your hierarchy and rules.

  • 02

    Content migration

Moving courses and learner history is risky. We plan migration with validation and standards-based packages.

  • 03

    Training evidence

Organizations must prove who completed what. We keep reliable completion and certificate records.

  • 04

    Many user types

Admins, instructors, managers and learners need different views. We implement granular roles and reports.

FAQs

Common questions

Have a question that is not covered here? Get in touch.

Should we customize Moodle or build from scratch?

Customizing an open-source LMS can be faster and cheaper if it covers most of your needs. A custom build makes sense when your workflows, branding or multi-tenant needs differ significantly. We compare both during discovery.

Do you support SCORM and xAPI?

Yes. We can build players and tracking for SCORM and xAPI content, and plan how existing packages migrate. Support depth depends on the standard version and content, which we test.

Can the LMS integrate with our HR or student systems?

Usually, through APIs, file feeds or single sign-on. We check what your systems expose and plan synchronization of users and records.

What affects cost and timeline?

The number of user roles, integrations, content standards, reporting needs and whether it must serve multiple organizations. A phased rollout is common.
