Supply Chain Software That Connects

We build supply chain software that links suppliers, inventory, orders and logistics, so planners work from current data rather than last week's spreadsheet.

Overview

Supply Chain Software Development

Supply chains span many organizations, and each keeps its own records. Codemotives builds software that pulls those records together: purchase orders from your ERP, stock from warehouses, shipment status from carriers and confirmations from suppliers. Planners see one picture and can act before a shortage becomes a stockout. We also document each integration so your team can maintain it.

We work on the connective layer as much as the interface. That means integrations, data cleanup, supplier portals and exception alerts. Where forecasting adds value we can include statistical or machine learning models, but we start by making the underlying data dependable, because planning is only as good as its inputs. Each phase targets one concrete visibility problem.

Context

Sector challenges

  • 01

    Siloed inventory data

Stock levels sit in warehouse, store and supplier systems that do not agree. Planners lose hours reconciling them.

  • 02

    Supplier communication gaps

Order confirmations and delay notices arrive by email. Without structure, nobody sees risks until they are late.

  • 03

    Weak demand signals

Forecasts built on stale or incomplete data lead to overstock or shortages that ripple down the chain.

  • 04

    Slow exception handling

Delayed shipments and quality issues need fast decisions, but alerts often reach the wrong people late.

Capabilities

Solutions we build

  1. 01

    Inventory visibility

A consolidated view of stock across locations and in-transit goods, with reorder points and shortage alerts.

  2. 02

    Supplier portals

Secure portals where suppliers confirm orders, update shipment dates and upload documents.

  3. 03

    Procurement workflows

Requisitions, approvals, purchase orders and goods receipt matching with an audit trail.

  4. 04

    Demand planning support

Forecast views built from sales and order history, with optional machine learning models validated against your data.

  5. 05

    Integration layer

Connectors for ERP, WMS, carrier and marketplace systems, with monitoring so failed syncs are noticed.

  6. 06

    Exception dashboards

Ranked views of late orders, stock risks and supplier issues, routed to the people who can fix them.

Approach

How we build for your sector

  1. 1

    Understand the domain

We map your workflows, users, data and the rules your business operates under.

  2. 2

    Design for real users

Interfaces are shaped around the people who use the system every day.

  3. 3

    Build & integrate

We connect the product with the tools and data sources you already rely on.

  4. 4

    Launch & improve

After launch we measure usage and keep refining what matters most.

FAQs

Common questions

Have a question that is not covered here? Get in touch.

Do we need to replace our ERP?

Usually not. We often build around an existing ERP, adding portals, dashboards and integrations around it. Replacement is a much bigger decision, and we will say when it is truly warranted.

Can you add forecasting with machine learning?

Yes, where the data supports it. We first assess history quality and compare simple statistical methods with ML, since simpler models often perform well. Results should be tested against your real demand patterns.

What influences project scope?

Number of systems to integrate, count of supplier types, data quality and required reporting are the main factors. We usually begin with the highest-pain visibility problem and expand. Contact us to talk through yours.
