SaaS & Modernization
Keep Your SaaS Healthy
Ongoing care for live SaaS products: monitoring, patching, dependency updates and bug fixes, handled steadily so your team can focus on new features.
Overview
SaaS Maintenance
Launching a SaaS product is the start of a long maintenance obligation. Libraries release security fixes, cloud services change behavior, certificates expire, and small bugs pile up. Codemotives provides a steady maintenance practice that keeps the product current and stable, handled on a regular, predictable cadence instead of in emergencies.
We agree on what is in scope, such as monitoring, incident response, dependency and framework updates, security patches, backups and restore testing, and small improvements. Reports show what was changed and why. If your team prefers to keep some duties in-house, we can cover only the parts that are hard to staff.
Context
Problems we solve
- 01
Deferred dependency updates
Skipping updates feels cheap until a vulnerability or breaking change forces a rushed, large upgrade.
- 02
Problems found by customers
Without monitoring and alerting, outages and errors are discovered through support tickets instead of dashboards.
- 03
Untested backups
Backups that have never been restored are a hope, not a plan. Recovery steps need regular rehearsal.
- 04
Maintenance crowding out features
Small fixes interrupt the core team constantly, slowing the roadmap and frustrating developers.
Capabilities
What we deliver
- 01
Monitoring and alerting
Uptime checks, error tracking and performance dashboards with alerts routed to the right people.
- 02
Dependency and framework updates
Regular, tested updates of libraries, runtimes and base images, kept small to limit risk.
- 03
Security patching
Review of vulnerability advisories, patching of affected components and configuration hardening.
- 04
Bug triage and fixes
A clear intake process for reported issues, with prioritization agreed in advance.
- 05
Backup and recovery testing
Scheduled restore drills and documented recovery steps so you know what happens in an incident.
- 06
Maintenance reporting
Periodic summaries of changes, incidents, open risks and suggested next improvements.

Scope, priorities, architecture and milestones are agreed so everyone knows what ships when.
- 3
Design
User flows, interfaces and technical design are shaped and reviewed with you early.
- 4
Build
Work is delivered in short iterations with regular demos, so progress is always visible.
- 5
Test
Functional, integration and performance checks run throughout, not only at the end.
- 6
Launch & support
We deploy, monitor and keep improving the product after it goes live.
FAQs
Common questions
Have a question that is not covered here? Get in touch.
Can you maintain a product you did not build?
Yes. We begin with a short onboarding review of the code, infrastructure and documentation, and flag risks before taking responsibility for ongoing work. Poorly documented systems may need some stabilization first.
What response times do you offer?
Response expectations are agreed per engagement and depend on the support level and our working hours in India Standard Time. We can plan overlapping hours with your team, but we do not promise round-the-clock coverage unless it is specifically arranged.
Does maintenance include new features?
Routine maintenance covers keeping the product healthy. New features are scoped separately, though many clients keep a flexible pool of hours that can be used for either.
How is maintenance priced?
Price depends on the size and complexity of the product, the support scope and the response expectations. We usually propose a recurring arrangement after reviewing the system.
